Getting Started

Picture
1. Charge the battery
Please fully charge your battery prior to use. The power indicator on the front of the battery indicates charge level. Please note that the initial charge can take several hours.
Picture
2. Attach light to bracket
If the light unit is not already attached to the bracket, please use the Allen key provided. When fitting your light, push the screw into the hole without thread - you shouldn't feel any resistance. If there is resistance, remove the screw and push it through from the other side.

3. Wire management (part 1)
Use the rubber loops provided to hold the wire against the side of the loupes frame. Run the remaining wire down your back, connect it to the battery, and place the battery in your pocket / on your belt.
Picture
3. Wire management (part 2)
Form a loop in the wire, and then attach the clip provided. Most clinicians attach the clip to their collar or the head strap of their loupes.
Picture
5. Select light intensity
Use the adjustment dial to select light intensity. Most clinicians use around 75% intensity. A lower intensity will result in a longer battery life.

6. Composite filter (if needed)
Attach the orange composite filter provided to prevent premature curing of resin-based dental materials.
